I have this bag too, I tested it on a garden camp last week, I literally had to strip down to my underwear as I was that warm! It compresses down quite small so great for long distance multi day hiking. 😊😊

I've slept out in -2 in mine in just my pants and it's toasty lol. I bought a Klymit V inflatable mat and because the insulated version was £60 more I bought a reusable space blanket to wrap around it and act as insulation. It works really well and doubles as a shelter if I need it. Nice video of a good bag, thanks.

Great review mate - I bought one prior to seeing this review and had the same surprised reaction you did! Its is so soft and lofty, it cuddles you at night. This is definitely a 4 season bag - especially for the UK. In fact i used it at around 5 degrees C and was too warm!! I suffer the cold too. So I would say this is an extremely warm bag and would suit us cold sleepers so much so I have had to buy the OEX EV 400 Fathom in addition for slightly warmer nights.

Good review mate. I have an OEX Helios Hydrodown 300 bag which is a really nice lightweight bag but it sheds feathers terribly ! Hopefully your new bag wont have the same issue..

I haven't backpacked for several years, so need to get new stuff for next year. I'll need a new sleeping bag of course and have watched several reviews. I'm 99% certain I'll buy the Snugpak Elite 4 bag, for about£90. It can be expanded slightly too. This morning I happened to see this bag on a recommended KZbin video so watched it, then a few others, hence I'm here now. On first looks, this Leviathan seems great, but some comments are not as positive, so I'll probably stick with my planned Snugpak purchase. Just subscribed to your channel. Good review, I just bought this yesterday, I also have the trekology UL80 mat also. I was worried about cold nights, how have you been getting on with that combination and do you feel the difference with foil underneath your mat? Thank you.

Hi, if you are camping in the winter I would use a insulated foil mat with the bag and the ul80 as the ul80 has no R value. Thanks for watching. 👍

Have you ever considered the Robens Couloir 350 Sleeping Bag ? It has a top zip, rather than the normal side type of zip.

Good review of the bag mate 👍 I have one of these and have used it on three winter camps now including two snow camps where the weather was -5 to -7 and I didn’t have any cold issues at all in fact this sleeping bag ticks all the boxes for me and I can’t see me paying any more than the £119 I paid for this as there is just no need it’s toasty warm and for the price it’s an absolute steal , I can’t recommend this bag enough ATB Mark 👍👌
