Four seasons 'In Print'. Series 3, Episode 1, SPRING

Series of videos in which I look at some of my photographs and chat about the compostion process, my inspirations and the choice of fine art paper from Canson Infinity for the finished print. I also look at the Canon Pro-300 A3+ printer, which has been used to make the prints for series 3.

Hi, and thank you for another excellent video and for sharing your exquisite photography and printmaking skills. I am always happy when you release a new video :-) After lots of testing and research, I too exclusively print on Canson Infinity paper as I find it to be in a class of its own. If I had to print on only one paper (which would be sad!) It would certainly be Arches 88. I use it for like 75% of my images and love its subtle texture and its unbelievable white point and black point despite being OBA free. My second favorite is Prestige II, but would you really characterize it as high gloss? It certainly is glossier than say Platine, but personally I would still consider it among the semi-gloss papers. I am just saying this because I am not a fan of truly glossy papers. What I love of Prestige II is its texture and incredibly wide gamut: the only paper that in my view comes close to it is Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta, but I still like Prestige II a little better in terms of overall feel. Sorry about the digression :-) Looking forward to the next video!
