She is just great, man. What a role model not only for young girls, but young riders male and female. I wish her the best of luck for the future and I believe she couldn't have a better partner than Canyon !

A win is a win, brilliant and well earned. I suspect like what happened to Pogi in 2023, 2024 events will transform Vollering tho' - Lord help the peloton when she turns up at TDF in 2025. I hope Kasia is ready for her.

It was the lack of support to vollerring from her Team. that is the reason this happened, everybody knows. but cycling is a team sport, this makes it a legitime win for Canyons team.

So funny, Kasia's surname translates to English - Unknown. Now she is the most known female cyclist in the world:)
@DariuszLipiec17 сағат бұрын
Niewiadoma doesn't translate into Unknown in that meaning, rather: Uncertainty, Indeterminate... Unknown in the meaning "not known/famous" would be "Nieznana" in Polish. Cheers from Poland!

Vollering is the overall stronger rider indeed when compared one to one, just the team spirit in her team was lacking and her team management not good, in addition her strategy on the last stage was not on point.

@zeekryder7735Ай бұрын
First: There must be a rematch in 2025. She won by four seconds only by previously attacking her main rival after she was knocked down by another rider. This is the reason there was so much silence toward Kasi and so much support and comfort for Vollering. Thus, a dark shadow was cast over the 'victory' on the final day. The reason you wait for a fallen leader isn't just to be fair. It is so your victory does not ring hollow. Sorry, but you can't have it both ways.
@damiangruszecki7733Ай бұрын
* she was knocked down by another rider from her own team. Let's not forget this peak moment in Dutch sport.
@tokyobert29 күн бұрын
How quickly people forget SD Worx (and Vollering) dropping Annamiek van Vleuten when she had a mechanical on the 2022 Tour! Guess that doesn't count because it didn't work? Oh, and don't criticise Kasia for riding - criticise SD Worx for doing absolutely NOTHING to help Vollering after she got back on the bike.
@timbrykkk26 күн бұрын
That is one bitter thought I cannot shake off. Vollering seemed to be in far better shape and that crash was pivotal. Then again, isn't that part of the beauty of sports? It's not only the raw numbers that get you there.

@eduardoschneider2010Ай бұрын
most probably. her new team will not make the same mistake again (hopefully). but also its a team sport, this makes a legitim win for Kasia. its a shame that they just put her on the spot and not the rest of her team
