I backed the kickstarter that included that tower model a few years ago, some of the best prints I’ve ever had. Happy to see you use it to such great effect!

Regarding the habit building: don't beat yourselves up if the stuff from books or videos does not work (this counts double if you have issues with executive dysfunction). Especially when it comes to times of the day. I am more of a night owl, so I'll put my hobby time in the hour(s) before going to bed and listening to some audio books while hobbying. Tried to wake up early and paint a few years ago but failed and lost motivation to paint. Also have a fail safe if daily does not work. I often just try to get seven or at least 5 hours of hobby done during the week.

The last scene where you inserted that finished tower into your already created scene of modular tiles was very nice. I really like that project (the tiles) and hope that you continue to expand on it and share the process.

That’s exactly my intention! I’m really happy with the tile-based approach because it makes everything feel much more integrated compared to the usual method of terrain placement. Glad you’re enjoying the tiles!

Absolut motivierend! Mega gut geschnitten. Super angenehme Stimmlage und krasses Setup. Bin heute zufällig über das Fliesenvideo gestoßen. Zum Glück!

Great advice which applies to a lot more than just terrain building. I'm a hobby writer and every point you made hits true for that effort as well. I technically knew the things you said, but having them reinforced in this video was a great refresher for me. Thanks!

Good points to keep in mind!!! I like to have several projects in progress so that I can continue on something while I might have to wait for paint or glue!

Heh. Never thought I'd see the Pareto Principle applied to anything but business. Nice take. =^[.]^=

Hahaha, yeah, same here! But hey, what works for business can sometimes be applied to personal projects too. Just don’t take it too seriously though!

I am one of those lucky ones who finishes all my projects. I have a limited workspace and room for only one project at a time, maybe that helps. Otherwise I have no useful advice to offer except "finish it."
