@@norkisserrano Hi Norkis, how are you opening the latches from the inside? do you have enough space to reach your hands to the latches or did you build some sort of mechanism to open both from an easier location?
@norkisserrano4 ай бұрын
@@Shaun614-I connected the two latches with a strong string and pull them inwards to open from the inside.

Do you have any idea how much your build out weighs? It’s awesome!
@norkisserrano10 ай бұрын
Thanks for liking it. I have not weigh them but the camper as empty was only 358 lbs and with the build, my guesstimate would be around 650 to maybe 700 lbs including everything because I used 10 series 80/20 extruded aluminum which is lightweight. I would really need to weigh this to be accurate.

Wonderful video you created thank you for sharing. I wanted to know what the total payload for your Tacoma? And how much is the total weight of the entire build? Do you have price information for most of the materials your purchased? Thank you again for the additional details. I want to build my project M just like your setup.
@norkisserrano Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and I’m glad you liked ‘em. sorry I haven’t weigh them yet but it shouldn’t be that heavy, I used 10 series 80/20 extruded aluminum.

What size vehicle is that? Do you have any concerns about the weight after your build?
@norkisserrano11 ай бұрын
Well it’s a Toyota Tacoma so it’s a midsize truck, the Four Wheel Campers Project M alone is an empty shell weighs only 358 pounds, it’s pretty light weight and I use an extruded aluminum 80/20 and it’s series 10 so it’s really lightweight and strong. I’m still running 80-90 mph on the freeway

Great video! I love your build! How do you like the diesel heater? Is the exhaust from the diesel heater at a safe discharge? Do you feel confident with the diesel heater being right next to the diesel tank? Congratulations on all your hard work. Amazing job!
@norkisserrano11 ай бұрын
Thanks for loving my build.. yes I’m confident with my diesel heater inside, in fact it’s been several months of use now and it’s running perfectly, I have thought of everything about the mounting of the heater, the exhaust is of course routed outside and is sealed using exhaust sealant, I also have a carbon monoxide detector/alarm and it never did set off, not even once. Regarding the diesel heater beside the tank? It’s perfectly running well, both are not touching each other plus I also placed a silicone mat on the side of the tank to act as an insulation, overall it’s safe and very convenient to me.

Watch this video at 18:57 and you will see how I routed the exhaust of the diesel heater.

There was me, my wife and my 10 yr old son and we were just fine. But two people would be perfect. We also have 270 awning with walls which is a big place to hang out.

Beautiful job. It is funny. I just watched your video last night and then a guy pulled into Home Depot with a Project M today. I had never seen one in person before. Did you make your own cushions or have them made? Source?
@norkisserrano Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. I had my cushions done by an Upholstery shop. The fabric that I used is Sunbrella fabric because is waterproof. Spill safe.
