I just love the "Some of you will like this, some of you wont". I remember a few years ago when "In Some Way, Shape, or Form" came out. a lot of people turned their backs on Fys. I liked that album a lot. It was a little different, but I thought it was very good still. They hit back at those people with "Fairweather Fan". I thought it was great. This reminds me of that. I'm sure there will be some who don't like it and some that will love it. When all that was going on I said . If FYS came out with an acoustic album I would love it and support them. Well here we go!

Anthony Smith that album was garbage. most their fanbase went and became a day to remember fans instead and at that point they were playing bigger venues and they went and screwed it up with trying to sound like a mix of nickleback, foo fighters and puddle of mudd and when they went back to their pop punk sound (which made no sense since they kicked Josh out cuz they wanted to change their sound) it didnt matter anymore because half their fanbase didn't care anymore and now they're back to playing tiny crappy venues. and last I saw them everyone left after defeater played and only 15 people were moshing to fys. way to go fys you played yourself. and their 10 year anniversary tour makes no sense without Josh.

My cousin was a big fan and helped him through tough times along with Adtr. I hanged out a lot with him, a shoulder to lean on on my aunt's request, listening with him. But I kind of stopped listening to Fys when they kicked josh. Because for me the beautiful synth made them different and stand out. So I was kind of surprised when I heard this on Punk Unplugged. Brought back so many memories listening on my cousin's bedroom discussing about life and stuff. And no he didn't die and we both have kids now.
