Have always loved hummingbirds, when we in Texas they would come to kitchen, it was their way of letting us know the feeder needed filling. My Mother would get on a stool to do to that and I was amazed that she had several hummingbirds flying around her while she refilled the feeder. I always made the joke that they were telling her, " Hurry up Lady we are hungry !"

I saw and have pictures of a bumblebee hummingbird. It was yellow and black. I thought it was a Queen Bee it was larger than a normal bee. As I blew the photos up, I realized this is a tiny bird. I researched it and found out what it was. I'm a very lucky person, I got to see and spend time with a rare bird. Coolest bird I ever saw. I wasn't an inch long.

Praise to the Almighty God. It's really touching me when the narrator glorified the Almighty God. The books of Signs (Bible and Qur'an) was written thousands years ago to give human some basic knowledge about how the universe was created by the Almighty God before people made the books of Science and we found that some group of scientists didn't accept the existence of God and told us it happened by coincidence. I don't believe the theory of evolution and I don't believe the scientists who don't believe in God.

The eEastern half of the USA only seems to have the ruby/ throated hummingbird while the Western USA has several varieties. I saw so many hummingbirds in South America in large numbers. I wish we could expand the range of these other varieties north to thebUSA and east to our zests Coast! I was at a restaurant in Co that had dozens of hanging feeders and lots of hummers enjoying “ dining” there! What special birds they are!

How long do these birds live? I love watching them from my window, they like my calla lily and butterfly bush. Some are brave and will fly up to my nose to say hello. Dive bomb me when I’m changing water. Love these little birds.
