I would just like to clarify that no New Zealand birds are hunted anymore for any reason.. they are well protected and have been for decades and are bred and released into the wild yearly

Cassowary birds are also found in northern Australia as well. They are very important to the Daintree forest. Contrary to popular opinion they rarely attack humans and often also digest seeds and spread them about the forest.

Kakapo IS critically endangered and nationally protected and monitored. Kakapo IS NOT hunted, eaten, feathers are not used for clothing and the public do not even have access to its habitat. That is a Kea @ 9:18 it is standing on a fricking alpine rock so CLEARLY it can fly, it IS NOT a Kakapo!!! This fricking video has pissed me off and most likely will never watch this channel again because I just prefer facts.
