It's nice that you showed Marmoush's goal but if you would look closely between the one from Haaland and his, you might notice a slight difference. Haaland is surrounded by multiple defenders, as is usually the case. As you said, Marmoush patiently waited for the ball to come to him. Not a single defender in sight. Clear shot on goal. Marmoush looks like an exciting player and I'm looking forward to seeing him in action.

Man City still needs a better right back at this point, and certainly a DM and a possible replaceent of KDB. And, ofc, Pep needs to trust these young defenders and give them more game time. Them playing alongside Ruben would benefit them in many ways. But City is in a transitional phase, we need to have some paitence cause City is aiming in the long run, so short term results might not be too pleasing. We need to wait and see how Pep continues the rebuild of this team. But yes, Selling our old players and adding a few young players would definitely bring city back to its form.

it is a badly researched video. The lineup for Frankfurt was completely wrong. Marmoush scored actually 3 free kicks in a row. The goal by Knauff was deemed onside by VAR as you could also clearly see here. And Pep will kill any creative freedom a player has. Stats and goals & assists compilations are nice to watch at but if you play counter attacking style in the Bundesliga, which Frankfurt does, then fast break aways are something Marmoush is excellent at. But it is up in the air if he will be able to perform in the PL for City.
