It's quiet intriguing that Egypt has two of the current world best attackers in world football... Egypt raw talents should be taken more seruois from now for no wonder they have dominated Africa for so many years on both national team and clubs level.. I think with the next world cup Egypt could well be on the centre stage just like Morocco a few years back
@MuhammadAli90Күн бұрын
Our national league produces very good players but due to restrictions on fans in the stands and too many Companies playing in the Egyptian premiere League, we have many clubs with no fanbases but we have good academies and good clubs and the Saddest thing is they get bought buy Saudi Arabian and Gulf clubs, they propose shitloads of money more than European teams, the second thing is the language barriers and player determination, our players After Salah are overcoming that and trying as much as they can to go to Europe. we Even have a better left winger than Marmoush called Ibrahim Adel whose team that is owned by An Emirati is refusing to sell him to Celta Vigo or Villareal.

Damn I miss Julian. Def been missing him, and wish we could’ve kept him…..but damn glad he’s playing well at Athletico. He deserves it. Back to Marmoush….he made so many runs where Bernardo and Kova missed him or saw it late. Absolutely cannot wait to see the Haaland/Marmoush combo once they get some training sessions with the team. And loved the long ball…sorry, it’s a long pass (they just said it wasn’t a “long ball’). Know City goes to it when defenses goes man,but was great to see again. He will score soon. tbf he's never going to start ahead of Haaland.. Julian was plotted as KDB"s replacement, but his output wasn't there... There was moment of brilliance but he can't deliver good enough key passes into the front like KDB
@mr.InoriiiКүн бұрын
@@haihao2942because alvarez is a ball to feet player... he dont make darting runs like haaland enough... and so he needs to have players that linked up with him... and the guy that linked up with him alot last season was foden... thats why foden was cooking... and also why foden struggled earlier on this season, theres just no link up. but hopefully marmoush will be the guy because unlike alvarez, marmoush is a player that isnt a striker but can play there, unlike alvarez who's a striker that can play anywhere else.
@haihao2942Күн бұрын
@@mr.Inoriii Im not saying in terms of like on the ball linkup actually.. alvarez shows a glimmer of hope on his crosses (from right side of the pitch) there's just multiple occasion that his crosses into the box was actually on point.. I also remember he launches a strong ball on counter to the right wing (i think it's mahrez or someone that lead up to a goal). That;s why last he was plotted into the KDB's spot when he was injured, there's a glimmer of potential but i guess he wanted to play more of a second striker, going for goals instead of those kind of key passes Last season opposition started to close up the middle for city when that happened we have thse kind of crosses to open the score line.. earlier this season there's just lack of crosses into the center when the middle is packed. Im glad that nunes played more this season though he provided a good assist most of the time when he's on the wing..

For months I felt like I was speaking to the wind or banging my head against a rock. Pep hasn't been utilizing Haaland's strengths. Haaland needs through balls and balls over the top to take advantage of his strengths. The number of defenders in the EPL that can consistently defend Haaland on a fast break can be counted on one hand.

@@exfx8315 Indeed. Exactly. I feel so appreciated now that you have acknowledged my unique sapience! ; ) Seriously though, anyone who watches a Haaland highlight compilation realizes quickly that he is most dangerous and hard to deal with when given room to run onto through balls.

@@MrVvulf ahaha great response! My apologies for my rude comment. I think all the armchair/youtube fans started annoying me demanding we sell some of our best players because we wasn’t winning. I took it out on the wrong person in the form of sarcasm. Ahahaah Back to the topic, I agree Haaland plays best when running in behind, but we cannot ignore the fact that we didn’t have them opportunities because of KDB being injured for so long (the best option for a through ball for Haaland) but more importantly, teams usually operate with a park the bus mentality against us and Haaland is often than not on his own trying to run past 2 or 3 defenders, but I think teams are starting to have a bit more of a go at us now because they think we have lost it and it’s opening up the game. Plus, now we have Marmoush who is more willing to run in behind, so we could and should see lots more space opening up for Haaland.
@MrVvulfКүн бұрын
@ No worries mate, I'm Gen X so it's difficult to rile me. I grew up in the era where free speech was paramount, so we developed thick skin. Yes, KDB's absence was especially rough on Haaland who hasn't been getting the type of service that suits him. Even now, KDB isn't back to his previous form. Hopefully City (Pep) has turned a corner and is ready to explore more dynamic attacking. And you're correct that when teams "park the bus" it limits Haaland's effectiveness. The wingers and overlapping runs from other players become crucial for creating opportunities.
