When I was a kid my Dad cut and sold firewood. On the way home from the timber on Sunday nights he used to put the Statler Bros Gospel tape in the 8 track and we would listen to it on the way home. I guess it was his way of making sure we had some time to worship when we had to spend the day cutting wood. He is gone now, died just after midnight on December 26; this brings back memories.

Here is a story from the Good Book we know A story 'bout a miracle that happened long ago We hope that you'll take courage when temptation you meet There's somebody watchin' you who's strong when you're weak. They wouldn't bend They held onto the will of God so we are told They wouldn't bow They would not bow their knees to the idol made of gold They wouldn't burn They were protected by the fourth man in the fire They wouldn't bend, they wouldn't bow They wouldn't burn. Now the prophet Daniel tells about three men who walked with God Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego before the wicked king they stood And the King commanded them bound and thrown In the firey furnace that day. But the fire was so hot that the men were slain That forced them on their way. Now when the three were cast in and the King rose up to witness this awful fate He began to tremble at what he saw, and in astonished tones he spake. Did we not cast three men bound into the midst a' that fire? For lo, I see four men unhurt, unbound and walkin' down there There's Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego in the firey coals they trod And the form of the fourth man that I see is like the Son of God. They wouldn't bend They held onto the will of God so we are told They wouldn't bow They would not bow their knees to the idol made of gold They wouldn't burn They were protected by the fourth man in the fire They wouldn't bend, they wouldn't bow They wouldn't burn. They wouldn't bend They held onto the will of God so we are told They wouldn't bow They would not bow their knees to the idol made of gold They wouldn't burn They were protected by the fourth man in the fire They wouldn't bend, they wouldn't bow They wouldn't burn. They wouldn't bend They held onto the will of God so we are told They wouldn't bow They would not bow their knees to the idol made of gold They wouldn't burn They were protected by the fourth man in the fire They wouldn't bend, they wouldn't bow They wouldn't burn...

We are being forced to CHOOSE either Jesus or to bend and bow to our government nowadays. Will we, Jesus Christ’s blood bought, born again Christian children stay standing for AND with Jesus, OR will we cower and turn our backs and hearts from HIM? And as for being told/ordered to stop going to church to praise and worship The Lord together, just go to church and tell the evil ones that you and your fellow congregation members are gathered together to “protest” AGAINST SIN😊.
