For paws: worth pointing out that, when your servant has 13500 attack with their CE,(and some go much higher than that) an extra 500 on one card is only increasing that card's damage by less than 4% when they make that face card attack.

Yep its not a huge increase and can definitely be held off on until you have the QP lying around to deal with it. To me its like gold fous and grails, best spent on your favorite unit.

2:02-2:21 Thank you! I'm a low level whale, and even I use every bronze Fou I roll! Every combination of 50 points I can bestow with bronze Fous, is one less silver Fou I need for my Servants. Sure, there's enough silver Fous in every event shop to instantly take *one* Servant to 1000/1000, and if you have expendable MP the monthly stock is enough to get a Servant halfway... but every account eventually gets to a place where they have more Servants than they can Fou on silver alone. *Bronze Fous really help alleviate that workload* , and I'm sad whenever I see someone with their FP gacha set to burn them. Personally, I like to stash them into my SA until I reach 50 points on any combination to make it easier to keep my Fou progress in even increments.

The paw prints enhancements are ridiculously slow. Even if you bought all the rare prism shop prints every month, logged in every day, and did all events and quests, you would only have just finished a second servant now. The rare prism shop prices it as 1 prism for 1 a month right now on NA and 3 a month on JP. It averages about a maxed print servant about once every 2 years without the shop or once a year and a bit with the shop.

I've been playing for two years and this is the first time that I hear that the higher the level of the servant, the most the fous strengthening will cost...one learns something new every day

During Himiko event I rolled quite a lot FP gacha and with fou's from it I raised stats for so many servants. That really surprised me. Process was tedious but still worth it.

Fou Paws are the worst upgrade in the game. They don't affect NP damage and the extra atk stat they give to facecards are so small that you can only see the damage difference if you insanely buff crit, atk and color buffs. They should definitely rework the system as it's both slow and expensive for what it offers.

They should either make them pretty damn common and change nothing else, or make them significantly more powerful, like +200 apiece with a 1000 per card cap

I do agree with all that you said, I'm just too lazy to use the bronze fous as they give too little atk and hp and will take a huge amount to max a servant out, I'd rather just wait for 3* ones as I don't really need all my servants foued.

I think I reached getting all my servants to 1000/1000 when they gave out that giant plethora of bronze fous, ever since then, I've been burning all my bronze fous from FP summons, since I still have at least 150+ of each of the 3 star fous in my mailbox.

I save my golden fous for my most favorite/ best servants, as for the paws, there are so few of them that I dont even bother using them.

I saw that title and stared in horror at the prospect of people burning Fou cards. RIP me accidentally burning a Stheno recently. At least it was the second copy and not the (locked) leveled copy, and it was the terrible NP on a bad servant. Still irked, though.

Honestly, knowing how the devs work, it might be a good idea to always aim for getting as many of your Servants to 1000 for each Fou stat because you never know if they'll decide to make it so that you'll be rewarded with an SQ for each individually maxed Fou stat (and maybe something like 10 SQ for any maxed out Gold Fou stat). Using NA as a metric, there are currently 361 Servants one can get, which using my MaxedFou=1SQ hypothetical gives 722 SQ maximum. Id say that the average F2P/Dolphin playing FGO probably has somewhere around 1/4th to 1/3rd of the total roster available, which would still amount to an average somewhere between 180 to 241 SQs, with said amount only getting higher over time. On the topic of NA Gold Fous (and for simplicity's sake, I'll assume that like me, you've gotten every single non Rare Prism Shop Gold Fou since their introduction) I currently have 5 Servants at Max Gold Fous which equates to 100SQ using my MaxedGoldFou=10SQ hypothetical (and I'm 90% done with having enough for a 6th maxed Gold Fou Servant. That means upto 120SQ over the course of the next couple events). Obviously, this is *pure speculation* on my part, but I can honestly see Lasengle doing something like this now that they are giving out SQ and Pure Prisms to those who ascend their Servants. Maybe they'll even do something similar with NP copies or skill levels. In total, I would get 542 SQ total since I have 241 Servants at max fou + 5 at max gold fou. A very generous amount for what would probably be an anniversary QoL.

My every servant is maxed on regular fous. And with monthly pack of silver fous + events having them in event shops... well you get the idea. No reason not to burn them if i have a few extra 20/20 packs lying in present box.

Honestly, fou paws should be given more often. It takes 25 weeks just to max out one command card - that's half a year. That's just ridiculous.

There is not. Which ones are preferable are often highly contextual. A few pointers to aim for: -Ones that solve a problem for a particular quest. Eg, there is one that makes the Servant immune to stun for a turn when they use that face card. It can act as a powerful defensive against gimmick bosses with full party stuns combined with strong attacks that might otherwise wipe a party. Use on a Merlin, Enkidu, etc. -Ones that double down on the Servant's niche. Eg, critical-boosting codes on crit-based Servants. Ereshkigal, with her powerful and high NP-gen Arts card, benefits immensely from codes that increase that card's critical star absorption. Skadi's Quick cards synergize well with additional star drops and all of the meta supports benefit from the NP strength +8% code. Arjuna Alter benefits from any codes that inflict debuffs. Solo Servants can especially benefit, since they have access to all five cards constantly. -Ones that fill holes in a Servant's desired function. Buff types of the four meta-categories (attack, crit/np, card type, special damage mod) combine multiplicatively rather than additively and can provide an additional damage boost or can generate additional crit stars for non-star supports like Tamamo or healing for non-healing supports like Castoria. Some Servants synergize very well with certain codes generally (eg, the code to increase damage against charmed enemies is great for Kama) and others contextually (eg stun immunity on Castoria can give you a semi-unpreventable hard defense for fights where that matters).

I fou´d my Ereshkegal cause she is a great servant but boy does her damage suck, even on NP 2 and she cannot farm with black grail so with 2k fou, 2k damage ce double koyan and oberon she should finally be able to stomp every fucking archer in my path. Ever since i started playing Archer nodes have been the bane of my existence. The is no reliable lancer farmer, the one I got after more than a year of playing was goddamn Fionn on NP1 and he was so unreliable and had low damage output. I got eresh on NP 2 but as a buster she just wasn´t an efficient farmer and even then her NP output was fairly low since she only has a 1turn buster buff and a attack up that only progs after her np, wich she rarely fires more than once in 3 turns, unless you get lucky with an arts crit. Finally she is free and works in the meta and now i don´t even need melusine the half naked dragon child. The next one to get fou´d is Jarcher because she is a great farmer but again her damage sucks ass.
