Give you a little of my knowledge of similar problems, you may have too much weight in the rear which will keep the boat from planing out, in turn not gaining speed. I had big issues like that after filling the fuel tank putting lots of weight in the rear, I'd get in a wide open area, throttle all the way up, then walk to the front to put some weight on it, it would plane out then I'd go back to controls. Get Greg on the nose to help plane it out. Or catch a mess of fish to put weight up front.lol.
