Only reason I would’ve guessed Ti on the backspacer is because the shade of the ano exactly matches the ano shade of the pocket clip, and I’ve never seen an aluminum pocket clip on a decent knife. Excellent work, Vox!

What's up with the weird discoloration on the tip of the blade? Faulty heat treatment? Im asking because i was planning on buying this knife and i have another fox (wilson rapid response folder) with elmax wich has the same problem, although more a purple/blueish color. Are there known problems with fox+elmax? Good review btw, like the walking thing ;)

Great looking knife for ~$200. Seems very similar to: 1) Lionsteel TRE ~$270 and 2)Maserin AM3 ~$130. Any familiarity with those two knives and thoughts on pros/cons of each selection?

It is very weird to see a voxneas design without an opening hole. That being said, it has many things I love (Nested liner, dual thumbstud,big Clip with hidden hardware high FFG). Although I am going to get one of th Fox/Terzuola Knives or the Viper Italo.

I'd like to know how well that black coating stays on. Years and years ago I bought a knife with a black blade and the coating started to come off with mild use after a month. Admittedly that knife was a sub $50 knife, but it has kept me from buying another coated blade.

I'm looking to get my first $200ish knife and right now I'm between this, the Kizer T1 or Feist and the ZT 0450. I want something very usable but also really nice and premium feeling. What would you recommend? Thanks!

Matt K oh man that's a toughie! If you like to play with your knives, my first recommendation would be the 0450 (it's immensely popular for good reason!), if you just want a plain old top notch user, go with the Fox.
