HE DOESN't realize it was a mistake until interview was over. that is why he admits the mistake after interview. if he knew it was a mistake at that point in time than he would said something. it doesn't change fact that according sources at fox, they said that she was late to interview and her party/personal that she works with were cutting interview short because they didn't like how interview was going. this puts a lot of pressure on person to interview because of the limited time to ask and debate questions... on candiate that 1) did not get elected by the people and 2) did almost no relevant interviews to answer tough questions. brett cracked under pressure. nothing more.
