Fox Sniper big numbers

“Productive” is the best way to describe the action in this episode.
As soon as the wheat fields are cut, this is the time to really get on top of the foxes on your ground.
Young foxes are naive to the nosies and motion around so these can make for easier dispatch, although you still have to get into position without being spotted or smelled.

Can't believe how powerful air rifles can be! When I was 13 my dad gave me his old air rifle, me and my brother used to shoot each other with it. The only rule was jeans on and below the belt. No crotch shots. Never peirced the cloth or broke skin (for when we forgot the rule). Really like this channel, thanks for the content. Maybe one boost would be instant replay of the better shots but in slow mo....but nit a criticism, your camera work is brilliant

I have a hik micro lynx spotter and a sightmark wroth NV on the rifle? I'm thinking of upgrading my spotter, which one are you using and how usefull would you say the range finder is on the spotter?

Hold fire just yet mate. There’s a very very exciting spotter on the way combining NV and thermal. Watch this space. Rang finder on a spotter on certain calibres. Worth its weight in gold.

First shoot was not very good aiming, has he not calibrated the sight before going out?... kind of weird that he did not learn his lesson from that and aimed higher on the second one.

No, I think it was more of a case of: It was the first time he’d shot off the truck like that. Closer than the zero point so he didn’t compensate for bullet rise, Possibly a little nervous as we all get somtimes shooting in front of others. Can’t hit em all 100% of the time. Anyone claims they do either doesn’t shoot that many, or is a liar.

In the opening scenes he can be seen checking zero.It's all very well criticising from the comfort of an armchair but an altogether different thing trying to shoot off a rail attached to a vehicle, especially when you aren't used to using that method. Good shooting Stav!

@@ianmorrison4661 When a hunter takes a shoot at an animal and the animal suffers pain as a result of like you said shooting of the rail attached to a vehicle or firing under suboptimal conditions it's still the hunter who chose to take the shoot, if he though he could not do it properly it is also up to his own good judgement whether to take the shoot or not. I'm not sure how things are in England but in Sweden hunters learn this before getting a hunting license, it's just good ethics in hunting to always be sure you get a clean fast kill, ofc accidents happen but when an accident happens it's still on the hunter for taking the shoot to begin with.

the .204 is certainly very good. the .22-250 is probably the best in my personal opinion.

Granted in the right area they may not be all that bad. However, where I’m shouting here they do. They cause carnage on the partridge and pheasant shoots. I shoot plenty of land who don’t want them shot so they get left alone. I also agree, cats are worse in some respects. But that’s just the way it is. Luckily most of them behave as a lot of this land is in the middle of nowhere.

Why on earth you shooting 90 yard with a 223 you shooting be nailing them at 300yrd plus 90yrd is .22 rimfire range I wont shoot a fox below 150 with my 223 if it is .17hmr plays

A question on the wraith if I may? Do you treat it like an sfp and hold over / under as needed? I've got one i purchased a year or two ago shortly after they first came out but due to too many odd circumstances to mention ... I've not had hardly any opportunities to use it. I'm guessing it's not 'ffp-like' -- right?

it’s a great question. One of which I can’t comment on as it’s not me that shoots with the wraith. However, I have use the very similar ATN 4K pro. And the answer for that is yes. You treat it the same and allow for hold over/under as you would a Conventional scope, unless with the ATN your using the ABL range finder, which adjusts the cross hair accordingly.
