With all respect, I would like to comment on your post. I raised two daughters who are now in their 30's thankfully without a daycare use involved. I was able to be an at home mom. I was fortunate to have parents who were happy to sit when I needed help. In the 80s there was the daycare scare and I was grateful to be in a situation that many others are not. Many parents, single or otherwise, do not have the option to stay home or the option to afford the incredible high cost of licensed daycare. It would be ideal if they did, but, that isn't a reality for many. I dont think there are any or many parents who wake in the morning and say, Hmmm, where can I leave my kids and hope the damage ain't too bad....oh, well. Finding reliable child help is so difficult. Astronomically expensive. I think many parents are trying the best they can and must make difficult decisions. Please, while some may not give it a thought, please don't make it a blanket statement.

Regarding the daycare, yes it's parents responsibility to research where and who is watching your children, but how did this facility stay in business with local, state agencies that are suppose to regulate these businesses, to make sure they are in compliance

These agencies don’t drive around and look for businesses to investigate they see in the area. So many “daycares” run out of people’s homes and other unregulated buildings. The agency’s depend on the public to help weed them out. The agency can only do so much proactive work with the funding they have. Unfortunately parents often are willing to look the other way when the price is right. Daycare can cost more than some parents make working. Criminals who open these unlicensed daycare‘s feed on vulnerable parents and convince them licensing is the governments way of draining money from people. That’s why parents need to be more vigilant just like this sheriff stated. The agencies and parents need to work together

That hope is really just a fantasy and doesn't really happen in prison. Maybe decades ago when honor was more valuable in society, but today that doesn't exist. Today's prison populations don't operate like that. These people (I have much more derogatory terms for them but the KZbin overlords won't let me post them) will join gangs pretty quickly and be protected, exploited and manipulated for the gang leaders self serving interests, without any concern of how they got into prison. They'll likely even gain access to the very contraband that got them there in the first place. The world is in a really cruel and chaotic state. Justice just doesn't exist anymore, anywhere. Our only hope for Justice is at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
