Playoff teams are going to have a lot of room offensively against our defense and most superbowl winners have a top 10 defense. A 4 year extension for Goff was never the right move. He had this season left on contract and could’ve been tagged after or resigned during season if need be. Will start selling tickets for an arm and a leg until we actually do something other than win a division when it’s weak like last season. PS can we do something about the friggin turf on Ford Field. Just look at the statistics. The Lions and teams on turf have more severe leg injuries than those on grass. Do we just not care about our players?

If you're giving up this early then you in an actual Lions fan. We were playing third and fourth string positions in our defense with literally people coming off of other teams practice squads the week before, and our offense still kept us in the game. We came all the way back and still almost won. There's hope especially if we start getting guys back. It doesn't help. We lost a couple for the season, but that's why we pay Dan cannibal, Ben Johnson, and Aaron clan the big bucks. We just got to find a way to win next time

Frustrating game as the LIons can play much better. Some great plays esp, flicker, hook & ladder, and pass to Dan Skipper. Troubling: INJURIES & I think Montgomery was going to pass 1000 again. OMG! The Defensive linemen spent more time jumping in the air than getting to the QB, falling for JV level pump fakes from a taller QB slowed down the pass rush and even caused McNeil to be injured. Just get to the QB! Could have just had BB hawk him, damn near every play. OMG! Where was the running game? I know the Receivers were dropping catchable balls & the O-line was getting beaten and holding more than they should, but why not rotate some more guys in? Using more backup Tight Ends in jumbo for Montgomery & Gibbs could have eased the O-line panic later in the game. At least create more quick pass outlets, (like the Bills did to you). Some of Goff's errant throws and holding the ball too long could have been prevented. OMG! Call the Time-out Earlier! WTF? If you're going to do an on-side kick to one side of the field, why not have some of the extra players quickly loop back to that side as well? Once they were beaten, nobody was there! You handed them 7 easy points in a 6 point game!. Hopeful they can lick their wounds and keep moving forward., but the injuries are crushing us this season. You can see it taking a toll on the team. Time for a new strategy. Still a great team and I'm sure they can over-come! Maybe need BB to be a Linebacker! NFL needs to let all the Practice Squad be used in December +
