It’s both the injuries piling up and giving up 45 at home that are concerning for the Lions. I agree with you, though, that it should also be concerning for Buffalo as well. Typically you have to have some semblance of a defense to make it through the playoffs… and both teams’ defenses look suspect.

Time for Gibbs to go Supersonic. Lions Offense is so heavily stacked I believe they can carry through wins, The loss to Buffalo just showed that even with practically no defense, they can still put up 40+ points. Gonna be hard to do when you go up against a Defense like the vikings or eagles though. We will see how this shakes out

Exactly! Gibbs would be getting 20-25 carries per game on any other team in the league. Now it is time to unleash him. Melifonwu and Moseley are back on defense and will contribute immediately. If there is one team to overcome this type of adversity it is this one!

People forget last season? Lions had a historically bad defense, specifically the secondary. Lions not being strapped to one rb is a huge help. Lions were one or two plays away from going to a superbowl last year with an awful defense. Funny thing is the lions had like no major injuries last year. The sky is not falling in detroit.

Kerbey joseph, Brian Branch, Jack Campbell, Za'Darius Smith, and DJ Reeder. Lions still have some real good defensive players. Not to mention the offense like she was saying. Gibbs has the 6th most rushing yards with at least 60 carries LESS than 5th. He can be a sole 3 down RB and he's still relatively fresh compared to every other starting RB. It'll come down to week 18.

The bills defense was not 100% healthy either, but yes, not as decimated as the lions. Injuries are just a part of the game and season. You just don’t want them all at once and come playoff time.

Bills fan here. No, the Lions shouldn't be concerned. If the Bills offense is off along the way against a well rounded team they're probably done. This seems like a very competitive year. Don't sleep on the Ravens.
