Lol. No we're not going to compare to the chump cubs around here, that's not who we are. We got the players, they just need to step up. And another thing is they need to give up on Cabrera and Gallegos. Those two right there below more games than I've ever seen plus Ryan Helsing. We need a new bullpin. But then again when you got starters that can't go more than five innings you're putting four innings every game on your bullpen and that's nonsense you can't win like that.... That's why I say it's a coaching managerial problem because he's the guy who has them thinking it's okay to only pitch five..

Not a fan of Mozeliak but he’s not the one that pulled Wainwright after 52/3 to bring in another righty, he’s not the one that pulled Liberatore after 86 pitches, he’s not the one that pulled Quintana last season when he’s pitching a 2 hit shutout. It’s no wonder the bullpen has been average at best when the starters aren’t allowed to pitch past the 6th inning. The O’Neill issue, Contreras moving to the outfield,continuing to play Burleson this guy is clearly in over his head.

I am a lifelong Cardinals fan. What Arenado has said rings true for me. A lot of fans are shouting for Marmol's head, but I think anyone who knows anything about management and teamwork will realize that the 'root of the problem' is, in this case, at the top of this organizational tree. Ownership and the front office have made it clear that their main interest is to put a 'just good enough' team on the field to win enough games to bring fans to the ballpark. They clearly have no particular interest in a championship ring, or they would have gone after some top-tier pitching in the past two years. The team is very young, as Arenado notes. A lot of raw talent but little experience. Why? Money. Young players are cheap, while proven talent is expensive. It's all about the money; the team doesn't matter, the fans don't matter, team traditions don't matter. Only and always about the bottom dollar.

Bullshit. I've been a fan of this team since birth. You're a fan no matter what. Not being there when they're losing isn't bad, it's sending a message to the team that this is unacceptable and we're not going to be spending our hard earned money on a terrible product. hitters have no strike zone discipline. yesterday prime example…..two 3-2 counts in key inning. both time swinging at a pitch a foot off the plate. would have meant two runs with the bases loaded and no outs. TOO much analytics instead of see the ball hit the ball.

Your key players are getting older. The new players are not the talent offensively that the team needs and the pitching is sketchy. Every team undergoes this. A few like the Yankees Dodgers, and Braves have had long streaks as division or league leaders but they too have had seasons where making the playoffs were a pipe dream half way into August.

Go look at Oliver marmol's career minor league numbers, it's brutal. The guy is 36 years old, he can't even get the respect of this dugout being that you g and so close to when he was released from his baseball career. You got that kind of guy telling Goldschmidt Wainwright and Nado what to do?? Lol. This is a joke and I feel sorry for our players. They're never going to admit it but they're sick of this dude.
