if you’re riding a bike and in the fromt you’re already set to a demise, he understood that and simply saw the vehicle in path, knew he didn’t have time to break or maneuver out of the path of the crash, and sat forward shielding her. if you ride a bike or ask anyone that has been in a crash similar before you can easily figure out their thought process, quick decision making is a must on a bike

The friend says they got hit from the back end of their car, then said the driver side took all of the impact. Well, it can't be all three. Either way, it's highly unlikely that he shielded her. More likely that the driver side took the impact, therefore the driver didn't survive.
