The truth is dcfs doesn't do their job most of the time whether due to overwhelmed by amount of cases or simply laziness.. family members other than parents have no rights and if they report abuses it's highly likely that family member will be cut out of that child's life.. and have no rights to look at case files to make sure things are being written down, recorded and action is being taken to protect. Sometimes family members have no choice but to continue their relationship with the child and care for them to make up for the abuse, neglect.. you need to have an overwhelming amount of neglect, abuse etc to actually have dcfs to do what was right early on .

It's not something they "get into", it's something most cults are built on. Almost all cults are controlled by men, and almost all of those men have disturbing notions about their "right" to abuse others under their distortion of religious language. All organized religion is built on notions of personal supremacy and a desire to control and abuse others. They're power ponzi schemes. Even those at the lowest ranks have a superiority complex over those outside of the collective, but everyone above them has the imagined authority to control and abuse those below them. People participate in them because they want to control others, they want to feel more "special" than others, they seek control over other free people. Doesn't matter what organized "religion" you look at, they all have the same structure and it's all built on supremacy, control and abuse.

I knew the parents were behind it when the initial report came out that the mother came back without her son and all of a sudden. Nobody knew where he was at. Glad they got them..... Interesting how the parents won't have a bond. But when somebody is out in the community, shooting people and have a track record of domestic violence, they are constantly getting bond.

Oh my goodness, I used to watch Straitway's videos on YTube back when I started becoming interested in homesteading. After watching them for a bit I started to sense that something was very "off" and stopped watching. When you guys said these people were associated with a cult in TN, my immediate thought was "I wonder if it's that guy I used to watch?". Holy smokes, it was that guy! I am glad the boy has been rescued. Hopefully he will be in a safer environment now.

@@SAGITTARIUSGODDESS Not technically true. Exigent circumstances allow police to enter a property if they believe there is someone at immediate risk. They could have raided that "compound" without a warrant because there was sufficient reason to believe a child was in immediate danger. I believe the only reason they chose to wait in this case was because of the potentially violent nature of the cult members.
