Quickly fix cracked mortar around bricks

Yes quick fix for only a few bricks. Thats how much mortar will fit in a tube. It will be a very expensive task to fix a long crack in your wall with this.

Nor should you... For one it's a nightmare to get off , and if you do get an actual professional to fix the root issue instead of slapping a poor band aid on it they will have remove the brick to get the unsightly "mortar repair" off of it. This stuff is a terrible idea for any home owner... Don't buy it, call a professional.

The weep holes are supposed to be directly above the angle iron. I imagine that’s causing the angle iron’s to fail. The water is meant to drain off the angle iron . Many angle irons are rusty when purchased new then cleaned. I only use galvanized angles from Klein Steel for replacement to prevent history repeating itself. James -19 years masonry experience

That long horizontal crack was not caused by water ingress at the window corner. It is structural and indicates that the wall above has moved laterally! Probably due to overall poor construction of the rest of the building. eg. No wall ties or something much worse. This proposed “repair” does not address the root cause and is an appalling bodge and the crack will likely reappear within months anyway.

I couldn't believe that was blamed on water. This is a classical foundation shifting issue.

In texas its normal. Its foundation crack almost every home has some foundation issue

I can NOT believe you are promoting this "solution" now people are going to ignore the real cause of the separation, that's a structure issue, you have now advised home owners to "save money" ignoring giant issues.... Great idea.

Lost for words really, I don’t know what’s worse the bodge repair or the original brickwork What’s with the row of cut stretchers at the widow header @ 3.17 ? Apart from the fact they shouldn’t be there it looks like they were cut by Stevie Wonder.

don't use that product. I used it before but now they have changed it. I used it recently and it looks like a used white caulk. It is white and has no grit.
