Great questions. I always love the way that Kevin is able to make the actors feel comfortable with the press by asking about the actual filming stuff, while also getting juicy bits that fans want! Solid interviews 100% fantastic 10/10 would recommend :)

This really is one of the better interviews I've seen of the Fifty Shades cast, they're interesting questions, without being overly invasive or inappropriate (which I feel journalist feel its okay to ask this cast when it comes to this movie), and as a result we get some great responses from the cast.

Hands down Kevin McCarthy is the BEST, I repeat THE BEST INTERVIEWER EVER!!!!! He doesn't ask the same boring questions as other interviewers. He needs his own network!!!

He always gives great interviews and ask very different question, which after the actors get ask the same thing over and over again, must be refreshing for something new! Then I'am like I want to know the answer to that, then actors light up with something new about their character! Also glad we do get flash backs to Christian childhood, will differently give people a understanding of his fear of being touched and see why he behaves from his childhood trama! Adds a element you didn't get from the first movie! Makes him more human and you can sympathize for him! Just want all the emotional scenes to land and the drama thriller with the playful and loving side we get as Ana helps Christian come into the light and be vulnerable, even though he's scared! He knows he can't lose her again, so in the end he does it cause he wants to, which is important for his character!

I truly enjoyed this interview, but I'm not a fan of when people compare Dakota and the girl in Twilight for some reason. But really, good interview and good questions. It's interesting about filming both movies at the same time, and asking how Jamie handles the film with his wife. I knew Jamie's wife was an actress, and I totally respect her not wanting to watch the film. But where she has formally acted, I'm sure she understands that it is work and it's part of it, but still has to be difficult to take in. I just truly love this story line, I'm not a fan of what is trendy, like today's mainstream music or for example, something everyone else watches. So when this first came out, I assumed it was overrated and once I watched the film I truly understand the hype surrounded upon the movie. It's so intriguing and I'm eager to watch the second and third film. I love the casting for both Christen and Anastasia, the both were perfect for the role in my opinion.

I love how Kevin tried to reach for deeper meanings to stuff in the movie and jamie just says: no, i just thought it was funny. like he doesnt evenn care anymore. nobody cares about anyting in the movie except for the "romantic" parts, so brainless moms will go and watch these movies. movies with actual romance or realistic romance always get pushed way back in the box office, but this shit makes money like crazy. I just cannot get the appeal... maybe because my girl enjoys living her reality.

Vino sitas There actually IS far more to these movies than the sex, but honestly, you need to read all three books first, including the epilogues, to really get all of it. There is a lot of hidden stuff that you totally miss unless you read all three books, in order. I just took them for what they were, & I enjoyed them. I don’t expect them to be completely realistic, & I don’t live that lifestyle. Then again, I’ve never even MET a millionaire before (that I know of!), let alone a BILLIONAIRE! Heck, I have never even SEEN a pair of Jimmy Choo’s before, let alone bought (or been given) a pair! Those are simply dreams, among other things. Every woman dreams of meeting her prince. Christian actually truly is a prince, but it takes Ana getting through his rough surface to the real man she knows is underneath to actually find that prince! In a way, she’s showing that one should “never judge a book by its cover” & “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”-we all have good points, & in the eyes of the right person, we all can be someone’s prince or princess. It takes patience, understanding, & perseverance. We also have to accept each other’s bad points and look deeper into each other to find the good sometimes-it’s not always crystal clear or at the surface what a person is really like inside. Just sayin’.

The author's husband completely screwed up the screenplay! He cut and pasted the story; he was all over the place. He changed the story too much., and left out the most important parts. Just like a man, he focused on the sex instead of the sacrifices they both made for each other because of their love. So upset about this. E.L. James should have done the last two films.

EL James apparently had the final say in the script writing...and SHE want MORE sex in these films ... she felt that's what the fans wanted to see...her husband (screen writer for Darker & Freed), was interviewed and it was very interesting - I honestly believe if Sam Taylor Johnson as director, things would have been very different!
