Well, English is her first language while for our other Miss Universe, English is their second language with Gloria Diaz and Margie Moran speaking it quite well because of their educational background. It is easier for Catriona to express herself in English. People should analyze properly. Cat pronounces Tondo and Mayon like a foreigner, for example. So our other Filipina Miss Universe winners actually did better with English as their second language.

English was not my first language, it was Tagalog, but through dedication and reading lots of books I became nearly fluent in English at the age of 10. Anybody can learn any language and become fluent, if you have the dedication. Also, being young helps as well, as learning is easier when younger.
