Gotta say this has to be the best interview thus far during her Media Week! She's so real, and very "human" - no pretentions, you can tell. It's commendable how she acknowledges being multi faceted person, and her diverse background and upbringing (being Half-Pinoy, Half-Aussie growing up in PH and AUS, studying in US, etc.). It's a breathe of fresh air on how she got into the world of pageantry - through her advocacy first! Oftentimes, it's the other way. Her sincerity, character, substance, personality, compassion, intellect, and beauty just shines. I hope more people learn from this type of influential figure in this day and age - embracing who you are personally and culturally. I just loved how Miss Universe Organization do a series of interviews through each delegate.. You can see how they chose a very relevant person .. You can see and hear from each question how substantial, relatable and well spoken the new Miss Universe is. It's a very exciting pageantry of wits and looks. It's all about how well rounded a modern woman should be.. How a modern woman would pursue throughout her life and the one who would represent us women globally each year.
