Not everybody wants to carry a gun just so they can be safe. It's better to go the other way to solve the problem and get rid of the guns instead of everyone having one. If you rednecks and gangsters didn't tote so many guns then there wouldn't be a problem. The reason they are so easy to get for these thugs is because of gun fanatics. Just sick. But now that you can make them in your home fairly easily it might be better to arm everyone. The rap community and thug community is the main reason for all the gun crime and glorifying crime in rap and clout is the cause for most of it. Harsher gun laws and murder laws are needed. It should be automatic death penalty for murder in every state. It should be 20 years for having an unregistered gun no questions asked or reduced sentences. And shooting someone should be an automatic 20 year sentence no less. And robbery the same. And life for drive by shooting even if you don't hit anyone. Life if you shoot at people with no good legit reason. If this was the standard in the entire country then the crap thugs would all be in jail, on their way to jail, getting executed, or scared to play gangster anymore. The laws are just too relaxed and lawyers just get people off of charges which doesn't deter the main ones anymore. The people that pose the biggest risk are not ever going to stop until they are dead. 20 year minimum for all of it. No questions asked and the world would be better off.
