Nice people shouldn't always be victims. In the UK innocent people cannot defend themselves....not even with pepper spray. In a nearby town, Jade, lost her life to dogs........the dog owners served no jail time. Meanwhile two old people growing pot : 9 years mandatory minimum each. Hypocritically the UK London wealthiest, such as Victoria Atkins MP, are the world's #1 growers and sellers.

I grew up in New York and Channel 5 always focused on crime news, whether the station was under the control of MetroMedia then or Fox today. It is still a very depressing station to watch for news. I avoided that station like the plague. The anchorman John Roland was always too offensive to look at. So much for right-wingers accusing the media of being liberal. This was right-wing media pre-Fox News. Roland is best remembered for getting into an on-air argument with a mentally ill homeless woman during a TV interview in 1988. The station suspended him for that and he had to apologize.
