My grandmother has never had an issue with telephone scammers because she's MEAN. If caller ID shows a phone number she doesn't recognize she answers the phone by saying "WTF do you want?" Scammers usually hang up on her because they're looking for people who sound like they can easily be intimidated.

I've had scammers try this stunt several times. They claim their are my grandson so I ask them which one. That stops them in their tracks. If they answered correctly, I'd then ask them which order grandson he was. Any of my grandsons could easily figure that out.

Scammers are using AT&T’s logo to call you and ask you for money! I told someone at AT&T about it and she said one thing for sure, AT&T will NEVER call you! They (scammers) can take anyone’s logo and use it how they want. Keep your eyes and ears open at all times everyone!

The way I have my phone, Android, set up if the number calling is not one of my contacts my phone will not ring. They go to voicemail. If they don't leave a message I'll block them. If I don't like their message I'll block them.

I never answer my cell phone if I dint see a name I know or recognize the number! If it’s important they can leave a message! Also, I do not have a photo of me on my FB page, and have never and will never post pictures of any of my family! This isn’t new for me as I’ve never posted pictures since I originally got my page! If you knew my name and googled it, you would come up with many others with the same name! It scares the *** out of me when people I know (like my niece and a friend’s daughter) post pictures of their kids - from very young to now and these are young girls either in high school or already out! They post everything about their activities, etc. just plain dumb!!!
