Damage, does this reporter get it, Matt was drafted into the NFL as a punter, that doesn't happen very much, he should be going into his second season with about 1/2 a mil in his pocket. This was a money grab from the beginning, don't know whose idea it was the girl or her lawyers. But it backfired Matt was drafted by a team run by a women, not that there's anything wrong with that, but it was right on the heels of the whole Watson thing. The Bills wanted nothing to do with that, so they cut Matt, so no payday for the lawyers. Matt will play in the league he's that good. A punter doesn't get drafted if he's not an uber talented punter.

To be fair to the Bills, it’s pretty much understood that every team in the NFL would have cut him as the constant blowback which would result from keeping him would hve been too much of a distraction, all the boos every time he steppen on the field, and the boycotts that would hve happened. The NFL owes him a job and an apology though. Anyone who saw him punt in preseason knows he might have been the best punter in the NFL, perhaps ever.

They are the main ones responsible for this. His team, the Bills, had to react, and the NFL didn't fire him. They also could not have fired him, because his ancounter with this girl happened before he was drafted to the NFL.
