How is it that we watch the facts of history with are own eyes 👀 and still deny it!!!

Because when people who are born and bred colonizers for centuries are confronted with the truth, they don’t want to accept the fact that they have been wrong for centuries and their fathers and fathers before them and fathers before them and fathers before them….were wrong and have been wrong all their lives and they don’t want to see that in the face. They would rather have history repeat itself and deny, deny, deny, because it makes them feel better to not see what they have done all thru history and the misery and suffering they have caused. They don’t want to “feel guilt and have hurt feelings” as the Florida governor says…Denial is comfort, denial is convenient, denial is blissful ignorance and not responsible.

History can be dark, violent, and baffling to our modern eyes. But it should be a base towards celebration of how far we have come today as humans. Not to hate each other all over again over the wrongs that were committed. Be very careful and watchful who brings history up to stir up the emotions of others to benefit their own agenda.

THE GEORGE F. RIOTS WERE TOTAL B.S. I lived homeless 7 yrs - also during that time. I've seen the antagonism and perpetuation of what is no longer true. WE HAVE ADVANCED SINCE THOSE DAYS - IT'S NOT UGLY UNLESS YOU WANT TO KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH B.S. AND THUGGERY. OMG - SEEING THE OBVIOUS IS NOT DENIAL. LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY, DROP THE DAMN CARDS - WE SEE YOU🤷!😍💝💯♾️

Remember a reporter can interview only people that support his opinion if he wants to, just to sell his story. Racism sells! His last story was about how when building the interstate the racist Minnesotans through out all those poor black people for the land to build I35 . Yet he neglected to mention that the interstate also went through a wealthy part of Minneapolis as well. Dude you are such a dud.

Does anyone really believe they tore up the rondo neighborhood for the interstate because black people lived there. Or was it done because they were less valuable houses? I mean from a business standpoint if the properties aren't worth much there's not much property tax coming in so if you had to choose what to tear down that obviously would be it as far as state income is concerned. go back 100 years prior and they would have tore apart the poorest white neighborhood to make room for future improvements like they have done with airports. I fully believe people of color were hit especially hard. But I don't believe it was intentional. I think it came down to Dollars and cents.

Poorer people have fewer options and it changed their lives for generations. Richer people have more options to relocate. And what happens when we destroy neighborhoods, not the buildings, but that intangible sense of belonging?
@v.a.993
@v.a.993 10 ай бұрын
Yes. I believe race(ism) was a factor in the decision to tear up the Rondo neighborhood. Racist indifference to what would happen to those who lost their homes, a valuable wealth asset. There were no Black state lawmakers to lobby against it and in the economic interest of the Rondo home and business owners. This type of racist indifference didn't just happen in Minnesota, it happened elsewhere in the country under the guise of urban renewal, and to build the country's interstate system.

As if dfl blacks in Minnesota ever do anything for those who are indoctrinated to continue voting dfl in minnesota, look at the motley Crue of representation, Ellison and Thompson the woman beater the Somali Warlord daughter brother cousin marrier. All those Democratic socialists of America on the Minneapolis city council bought into the whole caboodle and should but won't take full blame. Look at Maxine Waters for a black politician who does nothing for her people yet continues to get reelected

Even if you don't use the interstate, you don't enjoy how modern life is ? I sure hope you're not one of those guys that would make such a statement but then hops on the interstate. No one respects a hypocritical dweeb. Its always fun to see people that are not willing to let go of the antiquated, less safe, less efficient, less economical US Hi-Way system. It would be an answer to achieving population control that's for sure.

Police brutally X 100 and more happened every year for the whole duration communist party rule in China 🇨🇳, where race is a none issue. The only thing different is that the brutally ruled Chinese people suffered and died silently, nothing got burned. The brutality towards people has intensified now because of the high tech survalence developed by American heartless IT companies.
