Excellent video captures the beauty, simple pagaentry and import of this moment in our history -the passing of a US President. The service and the speeches enlightened all of us, the procession was poignant and the singing was heavenly. Jimmy Carter was a remarkably accomplished yet humble figure beloved by many. The folks who filned and posted this funeral did a beautiful job. I thank you.

The news of the former president's passing stirred a complex mix of emotions within me. Once, I had blamed his administration, my childhood colored by the anxieties of the Iran Hostage Crisis. I vividly recall the yellow ribbons we wore at school, a nascent symbol of national unity and a desperate yearning for the return of our countrymen. This, I believe, was a pioneering moment in American history, where a simple ribbon became a powerful emblem of collective hope and shared struggle. Even amidst the official diplomatic efforts, the intervention of Rev. Jesse Jackson provided a glimmer of hope, a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of independent action. As I reflect on the president's life and legacy, I acknowledge the complexities of his tenure and the profound impact of his time in office on the nation's psyche.

Politicians of today should learn from President Carter's example. He had dignity and told the truth. He had morals, and he tried to govern as a Godly man. He ran smack dab in the lair of career politicians who had no morals and who were only concerned with their hold and power. He was a Godly man, and I know he's in heaven now. He is in the arms of Jesus, with a new body, and reunited with his bride. You'll be missed, Mr. President.
