I lived in Balt City for 15 years, and saw my ppty tax almost double, the water bill triple, and my energy cost triple as well despite using far less energy (I replaced the original windows in my house from 1920 and set my therm to 62 in the winter).

Maryland is 3rd hardest in the U.S. to start a business. Too many regulations... startup costs are astronomical... taxes are too high... lease costs are terrible... This is why we have no fortune 500 companies in the state

Each news station reports things differently. Where are the descendants of Maryland as we watch our state paved by our ancestors and forbears decline yearly. Sharp LeadenHall (1790) was created for a reason. Paying for grocery bags and unprecedented taxing is the new generation. The reason we need Reparations. The progress in our state has been reversed by a different generation of people. Each generation needs to establish new goals without harming what was done before their time.
