Wish I could have kept my 87's manual windows, but the 90 black interior I got back in 2000 was full power. A lot of work, but hey, the interior was only $100!

I had the cart full, and the cashier didn't want to go through everything, so she just rang up a dash, door panels, headliner, back plastics, and $20 of misc stuff for the belts and other trim pieces. I did leave the seats as they were not that great. My lucky day!

great vid man appreciate the knowledge. question how do you seperae the throttle body and egr from intake without breaking any of it mine has never been off and now its time it is severley coroded bolts to aluminum and spacer to t/b any help is much needed

Holding it up? The inner door parts do that. Perhaps a bad regulator?

@@FoxbodyRehab Right around 6:25 you're explaining how you are using duck tape to hold it in place. I won't be able to do it that way. The window also needs to be up when you install the new regulator. So I was just curious if I'm going to have to hold it by hand?

@@FoxbodyRehab 🤦He means how to hold it up while working it. T-tops cars don't have window frames so he can't use duck tape to hold it up while replacing the regulator.

I looked into some new manual door panels for my 86 but could only find the power window style. I inquired if the manufacturer could simply not punch the holes for the electrics and they said sorry, no. It's a strange world in which we live.

Both LMR & NPD list TMI '79-'86 door panels for manual or power windows. LMR site says they come perforated on the back & it's up to you to cut out for power locks.
