We the people all know our founding fathers were human with human faults. They were still unfathomably so much more intelligent than the jokers running our government today. They had the intelligence and fore site to understand evil and it's never ending desire to dominate everyone they can. Thank God for those founding fathers. Funny, I read about a Man in his 70's that had survived 5 wives and 8 Girlfriends and Fathered 37 Children and is STILL alive with a Girlfriend in her mid 30's. He also has 4 dogs, 3 cats and spends his free time hunting and white water rafting. Doesn't have dime to his name but has lived the most fulfilling life.

I have read 1974's biography of Thomas Jefferson and Jefferson's daughters. My take on him. He was an elitist but had a conscious. When he had to write or give speeches he suffered migraines and stomach problems. A couple of times he did take a stand against slavery in Virginia and in the U.S Congress. Why he kept his slaves is up in the air. My feeling is he felt responsible for them. And maybe in his later years just didn't have the resolve in him.

What liberty? If one thinks about it objectively, the British owned America as a colony. The population of America at that time were immigrants who chose to take America as their new home. They were not moved from Europe to America by force and as slaves. That was their CHOICE. Not forgotten. The world was based on slavery at that time. These men laid the foundation for the freedoms America offers today. It had to start somewhere. No other country offers the freedom of America. It is not where you have been but where you stand today that controls your future. Live in the past and it will control and limit you.
