I am a mother and a Sunday school teacher. The speech that I have heard today has encouraged me personally so I put it in my car while I was driving the kids to school. My daughter who is a teenager got so encouraged too by Lydia. Especially that she's going to high school and she has a lot of fear about losing her faith. What you did, is great and because it's a from the heart it is so touching. "So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven; but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 10:32-33 RSV).

I watched my mom died of suicide in July 2020 and I was raised to be a Christian but I chose to do it to earn the love and loyalty of my mother and she kind of showed me what not to do and how not to behave, but when I realized a couple years later why I was a believer before, it helped me grow and strengthen my relationship with Christ, and now my faith is stronger than it ever has been in my life. My sister, on the other hand went down the opposite Road She is now deep deep in the party scene and walked away from her faith because of what she felt was taken from her. I pray for her every day. And I think it’s amazing how open we should all be about our faith, and I don’t care what the world says, and I don’t care if they hate us or even hurt us for our beliefs we may not always win the battle, but if we keep our faith in Christ, we will survive and win the war.

We choose to trust God's truth (Bible) as we seek to understand him and his purpose with whatever joy, trial or sorrow we face here on earth. Also, ALL people have a lot to apologize for as human nature has always been sinful. God is not responsible for the corruption of mankind.
