All I can say is I was walking past the students union a few weeks ago and I heard someone singing and I recognized it was her (this song), she was that good! I popped my head in and there she was, I wish I waited I just didn't want to interrupt her rehearsing for the show later. She's awesome and no fake, sounded just as good live as she does in her videos, so glad someone is making good use of her talents. So many of us waste them.

People be like "regular vid".. when you think about those lyrics a little, she sings about a guy that did something bad to her (Ihate what youve done, what youve made me become), yet she still loves him (but i need you tonight), but shes trying to get over him ("no sleep, face the night"). And thats what shes doing in the video, right? Shes dancing with other men, literally changing them like socks.. and when shes not dancing? Shes nostalgic and thinkink about her love. Its so logical, yet people are being somewhat ignorant.

On one floor (reality), she's alone in a quite mundane party. No one pays attention to her. So she envisions another floor (fantasy), where's the party's lively, and people love her. She enjoys this more. However, she can't help but flip between fantasy and reality, and in the end, she finds herself in reality, still alone, with nothing but her music box. It's a depressing concept, but it fits the song, which is about her staying with her lover and hoping everything goes back to what it was at the beginning of their relationship, even though their break-up is inevitable. Foxes loves muddling up her happiness with sadness, and vice versa. Please share this if you find it helpful, or at least give it a thumbs up.
