If your new to fishing just a heads up if your fishing smaller ponds/lakes/venues/ I’d use a method feeder on a size 8 hook! Works for me every time and managed to get a few big ones doing so. you want to be using a pva rig on you much bigger ponds🤙🏽 hope this might help someone out there

Its really hard going to catch carp for everyone latley, 18 hrs and a cheeky pva bag stalked under a tree did the trick!!!, i never thought about using a bag to get through foilage, id worry too much about the mainline snagging, strong line and tackle required to land a fish in that tight spot so top angling Mark. The alarms your using are the RX+, ive got one micron mx that i use to stalk the same way and works very well with a heavy mini dumpy bobin👍
