I have had a lot of success with using a long shank hook with the same rig set up. I have always liked the blow back rig, when everything else fails this rig can produce 🙏👍😉

It's a great rig and you can be very versatile with the hook pattern, Mark likes the Curve Short as he 'extends the shank' with the shrink tube :)

Interesting, why you take curve short and extend them with shrink tube? Take the long shank hook :)

The shorter shank hooks are stronger. So if you need a really strong setup but want the rig mechanics of a long shank hook this is what to do
