Thanks Fox News for covering this from start to finish I think you were the only Network that actually did follow it closely... It was implied that there was a child endangerment situation and perhaps a child inside the car so if a child was in the car and the top speeds were hundred miles an hour plus that wouldn't go very well with being chased and I'm sure the child would have been very scared so I don't know if the police chase is always the best approach... It was suggested that the police agencies can use drones to find out where the suspect is going and then swoop in and box them in.. And at the very end when they finally comes to a stop and they surround the car how are they going to carefully get the endangered child out of the vehicle without potential bloodshed... It would be nice to know what the end result was on this Chase and that maybe how long after the crash and stop was the suspect apprehended or what was the outcome what was the end result...

@user-sb3du4oq8e2 жыл бұрын
That is a liability thing too. You can’t just block off streets like that because it would get somebody killed and all the costs to the department to fix the vehicles damaged would be ridiculous. Also, reference the guy that said box in. Per policy, patrol units out west cannot “box in” or perform VCT, vehicle containment technique, on a moving vehicle. Not being unfair to FOX 11, their coverage is outstanding. The problem is with the other coast's law enforcement attitude. I think the main concern is for the perpetrators. No need to alarm them, they just want to let off steam, it's hard in california for regular people...

No one does police pursuits like LA. It's one of the perks!

A car sitting there. Flashing lights. Nothing else happening but the reporter interviewing every single person. Where do they get these news people.
