MT Baldy structures /homes were deserted by the fire departments . The plans were taken away the first night . The village/ homes were saved by 12 male residents that stayed and for three days fought the perimeter of the fire with 2 inch fire hoses . They are absolute heroes to the community.

Seeing that woman walking in all that fire 🔥 was very distressing to me😢 knowing that she was barefoot is horrifying😮 the fire captain said it was a good thing he was in the right place at the right time. I would say God sent her an angel🎉❤

I was in Sydney during the 2019-20 Aussie bushfires. I can still smell the smoke when I think of it. Was grateful to escape to Wellington NZ for a week because I could breathe.

It's been very hot as the Summer is still on. September is a hot month. CA. is dry at this time of year and have not received rain in many months. We do not get rain this time of year. I grew up here in L.A. County in the '70s and '80s. September has not changed. 2 of these 3 Fires going on right now are MAN MADE caused. ARSONIST and Public works tractor ignition. That's the LINE and BRIDGE fire. Airport fire under investigation, but we had a heatwave first week of September and that is not unusual for this time of year here. Those are FACTS.

Depends. Fires like this early in the summer could be considered. But fires this time of year in late summer/early fall...no. This is typical wildfires season in Southern California that has been occurring each year for a very long time.
