I am confused at how Bennett left the club in anything but a perfectly good position. He told them of his departure early on, he got them to a premiership without Latrell and everyones best performances were under him. What more was he supposed to do? The club is simply at the end of their run (they made numerous prelims and a GF) and needs to reset.

About time he was dropped to Reserve grade. We were successful off the back of his and Isaac Luke previously, driving the team forward with running momentum. He has completely shut down that part of his game and is just tackling and passing the ball from dummy half. In this day and age, the Hooker has to run otherwise they don’t deserve their place in the team. Walker should be next. As I personally predicted, his cockup intercept pass in the GF against the Panthers a couple of years ago has stuffed his confidence and he has gone downhill since. It’s time to start rebuilding the team because the overpaid spine is not performing and most likely past their use by date. And JD? That duffer should have been sacked long ago. Name one professional sporting team, of any sport, that wins five from past twenty games and still keeps the losing coach? Get rid of the clueless clown.

If you're not generating quicker play of the balls due to unwillingness to fight for each meter and put in energy to get out of the wrestle. If Jason can open heart say Peter is better in every facet than cook then yeah give him the spot but it won't be the case. Unlike grey fullback like to put in alot of effort defensively which trell seems slow to do and in attack. Unlikely be as explosive as trell but general involvement should be higher based on defensive sweeping alone.
