13:40... They should be suspended from school for simply using the campus for their protest instead of their education. The college should let them have all the time they want to protest... elsewhere!

I'm not really sure how I feel about that when I kind of agree with you but then I kind of don't agree this one's a thinker because I kind of agree with ..you should be able to protest but you shouldn't make it an inconvenience or interrupt anybody else's education whatsoever and then I start to think well technically colleges are a paid place you know people pay to be there and if you were protesting what the college is teaching and if you don't like it I feel like as a business cuz that's what they are at the end of the day they can refuse you service I don't know how I think about this one yet I want to have to think this one through it

@@jeffreyhawkins3649Try blinking next time when typing. That was one hell of a long sentence my man. Everyone keeps over looking what the constitution says about protesting. It has to be peaceful. You can incite violence and yell about your rights being ignored when police lock you up. If you can’t protest without causing people harm or inconvenience, you need to learn to control your emotions. These children who think they are adults don’t even understand they are breaking the law and are getting away with it so what will they learn? Nothing. This needs to stop asap before they think this is normal behavior.

To Kat's point: Free Speech is fundamental but words have meaning. When the protestor's chant 'Free Palestine' that's one thing. However when you specifically target a person or group & demand they be harmed or killed; that's crossing the line like Tyrus said & that deserves Law Enforcement action & civil penalties. There's a limit to being an absolutist, which you then are not. Condemning hateful speech that devolves into threats of harm isn't enough after that line is crossed. The Gov't. isn't compelling the disciplining of hate speech, it's common sense & civil discourse that's doing the compelling.

We don't watch Gutfeld to hear Kat's ideology pushed in our faces in support of freedom of speech, freedom of thought and freedom of choice over Columbia's campus encampments denying students an education e.g. "Gutfeld asks where did they get all those tents?" .I can't stand her constant Libertarianism being shoved in my face.
