Property tax rate about 1.1% here in CA, .55%-ish in TN and the dollar goes further in TN housing ($2 million house here in CA is like $1.2 in TN). SDGE kWh rate is about 48 cents, perhaps 15 cents in TN. People are polite in TN, bunch of potty-mouth liberals here in CA. Get the picture?

I know what Mr Hanson is talking about. One day I was sitting at a stop light waiting for it to change to green and a car rear rear-ended me. We exchanged information but he gave me fake insurance information and it turned out he had no insurance. I went to a CHP office to discuss it with them and they told me "we won't do anything to the man that hit you but if you don't fill out an accident report we WILL suspend your license". As far as I'm concerned he told me I was the easy target so they would go after me.

It is my opinion that the state goes after law abiding citizens (people with jobs/income) and not criminals, because there is no money to be made by arresting or jailing criminals or the homeless without jobs. There are many people that would like to be arrested so they can have three meals a day and a place to lay their head at night, (3 hots and a cot) shameful!!!
