Yes the prosecutor and officers involved must be court martialed and held accountable for violating Chief's human rights. Like it or not, things could have been different if they didn't resort to bully and spy tactics bringing in doubt of the military prosecution process. This is a HUUUGE black eye to the process and MUST be dealt with as publicly as Chief's case to reinstate what little TRUST our servicemembers and public have for this prosecution and chain of command. In my opinion, every single case that prosecutor and the chain of command involved is now in question of legitimacy.

As a recently retired Army Non Commissioned Officer with my last duty station being in the National Capital Region. I can tell you that when Obama came into office he began a campaign to cleanse the military leadership of strong, no non sense, Patriotic, Type A, apolitical & non politically correct NCO's and Officers. He then began filling those slots with those who leaned towards liberalism, activism, lacked disciplinary standards etc. which initiated a decline in all around standards. I was still deployed in Iraq when Obama took office and almost over night are hands where tied behind backs as far operations, ROE, pursuit and detainment policies to the point it truly put our Troops in very dangerous positions where you would have to have an insurgent actively engaging you before you could return fire etc. We went from being in a offensive posture on the brink of total destruction of AQI ( Al Qaeda in Iraq,the precursor to ISIS) & it's affiliates to a completely defensive posture which allowed those elements to begin re infiltrating their operatives back into the large cities such as Mosul, Baqaba, Diyala River Valley, Ramadi etc. They knew as long as they did not engage us or the Iraqi Military they where free to begin rebuilding their civil and military structures within these areas which ultimately led to ISIS becoming what it was. This is only one example of the many deficiencies that where created by Obama and his continued degradation of our Military that in some form or another we are still feeling and experiencing today as Obama saw fit to use our Military as a social engineering program that allowed people who should never be in our Military to serve in some of the most sensitive positions.
