How do I get my 2020 outlander to display engine rpms? I’ve looked in manual and nothing helllllpppp please!!!!
@FoxPowersports4 жыл бұрын
YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE dash button on Odometer once, let it go to the new rpm screen. You can also scroll back to the odometer and Hold it one more time and it will display both speedo and RPMs!

38HP on the 450 matches the 680 in honda's rincon. However, its too bad can am doesn't list the torque in their specs. Horsepower is only part of what gets you moving. Without both numbers you don't really see the whole picture.

I absolutely wish our local corporate-owned dealership is as straight forward and informative as you seem to be. I would be in your store and purchasing in a heartbeat. However, a question: For work duties on our cattle ranch, where engine and vehicle speeds would be at or less than 15mph for the next 10 years, do you think the 570 would overheat and be a poor choice, and would you consider the single-cylinder 450 a better choice ?
@FoxPowersports2 жыл бұрын
Hi Dwight, Thank you for the message! The 450 would be a better choice for low speed operation. Given its single cylinder nature, it will have more low end torque at those speeds than the vtwin 570! Neither of them will overheat. They both have electric fans on the radiators. But the 450 will run a little cooler due to its single head and lower horsepower! Hope this helps". Ozzy

I have 2020 450 that I picked up from fox last summer love it but when looking for aftermarket parts on websites it's always asking if it's a L or G2 model can you explain this everything I found seams to be for pre 2018. Coming from a guy who has had both. Canam all day you can’t beat the twin rotax motor that comes on em. Makes the Polaris feel more like a 450 rather than a 570 if that makes sense

These can arms have a very Serious heat problem you have to order the ATV heat deflector kit or you will fry your leg and fender and seat
@thegodfreyspecial4233 жыл бұрын
I found my 570 got hot - but only if you wear shorts while riding otherwise it was never bad enough to melt anything. I've since had the ECU flashed and it runs noticeably cooler (and more snappy).
@rrhowe23 жыл бұрын
@@thegodfreyspecial423 hi Cory thanks for responding. I did just order the heat deflector kit through my can am dealer. Hoping it cooled things down. It gets so hot that it has Warped the fender next to the exhaust. I did add he deflecting tape that did not work if I wear shorts it’ll burn my leg and has a huge red spot on my calf. But what is the ECU that you bought. Maybe I’ll get that as well
@thegodfreyspecial4233 жыл бұрын
I went to Monster EFI in Ontario - not sure what he does on the 450 but he reflashes the 570(and up) vtwins for premium fuel, removes limiters, lowers fan-on temps etc etc. It was worth it the bike runs much better than stock.

Me and my girlfriend bought 2 outlander 450's. Both have been to the shop for bad fuel pumps. Can-am had a recall on these bikes, BUT failed to inform us. I have not ridden mine since. I have ridden hers for a small 10 mile trip. Hers is now doing the same thing that it did when we had to take it to the shop. So I thought of taking mine. But Hey! What do you know?!?! MINE WON'T START! And it hasn't been ridden since I got it back from the shop! So now BOTH are heading back to the shop! 2018 450 Oulanders. Mine has 208 miles. Hers has under 100. My brother has a 1991 Yamaha and a 1998 Polaris. Both run fine. No problems or issues. WTF is wrong here? I search KZbin for Can-am not starting. A whole library of videos appear! WOW! LOOKS LIKE I BOUGHT 2 PIECES OF SHIT CAN-AM QUADS!
