For clear water I usually fish soft swimbaits in natural colors like roach or maybe perch/stickleback and in coloured waters I usually fish darker colours preferably with a lot of black and strong colors, maybe red/black or something alike. Seen tests that it isn't many feet of water needed before a solid black profile is what is easiest seen by the fish. If I do fish just under the surface I'll use some bright colours and maybe some glitter or flash/uv on them.

Great video lads. I always find Sam Edmonds interesting to listen to, he knows his stuff and goes into great depth and detail. It's a bit of a boring answer from me, but if the water is very coloured or if the bottom has silted up due to boats driving through or whatever, I go with brighter, more coloured lures. Sometimes if it's a very dull and overcast-ish day I go with brighter lures also. If the water visibility is good, or alternatively if it's anyway sunny, I stick with natural colours. Usually when going for natural colours, I go with something that imitates a roach/perch, depending on the area I'm fishing. Where possible, always present a bait that the predator are actually feeding on, in a similar size.

Personally for me, a bit of UV green/chartreuse/motor oil colour lures works for me. I do a lot of fishing at a still water and even though Im only throwing the 6cm spikey shad for perch. Ive found out that the pike there also love them a lot! Ive also got some larger (non jointed) pro shads on the way too, so i'll be seeing if there are bigger fish about. I've already had an 18lb pike out from a tiny spinner.

I simply love your lures, usually I go for classic firetiger or hot olive. I use the jointed shad in UV firetiger when the shallow replicants don’t work.

I absolutely love jointed lures. They give such a natural swim action, even on a slow retrieve. I usually use a Chartreuse/Lime colour in murky water then swapping to a natural or darker coloured bait in clear water. Looks like I'll be getting me some of these. 👍
