I agree with Claudia 100%. You can't chastise someone for saying something about Whitney Houston in a private conversation, when everybody was down on Whitney when she was at her lowest. Especially black people! Black people even booed her at the Grammys once because they didn't feel she was singing black enough, and this is long before the drugs even took her out. So like Claudia said, black folks can miss me with that BS! I'm not a big fan of the Kardashians, but these are words she said in private conversation, in an effort to hurt Ray J at the time. Besides, Ray J has been hanging out with Kanye West and Candice Owens lately, so this was clearly somehow planned between the three of them. Both Kanye and Ray J have major beef with Kim, so they probably released this tape knowing that black folks were going to fall in line and see this as a race thing, when in fact, black folks are the ones that treated Whitney Houston the worst when she was at her best. People are always trying to get on their high horses after the horse is already dead. 🙄 With that said, it pisses me off to hear anyone talk bad about Whitney Houston. Especially after her death. However, I'm not going to sit up here and play fake and pretend that all black people have always respected Whitney Houston. People were especially disrespectful in the eighties when her voice was at its peak and towards the end of her life after she had lost her gift because of the drugs.
