Well, women have to have respect for themselves first. When we don't, then men will definitely treat you any kind of way. No ones is perfect and never will be. However, you still have to have some level of standards for yourself. He offered to marry Nia and she didn't want to. As to my understanding she felt they didn't need to marry to have a family. She had chosen to have a child/children with him and no real commitment of marriage. And no its not about a ring or a big fancy wedding. It's just the principle of not allowing yourself to lay with and bare children with someone before marriage without a commitment. I dont have a reason to be.I've just been through life, based on my experience, learning of others experiences, and having a basic understanding of the purpose of the 10 commandments in Bible etc where I drew my statement from. I made it clear that non of us are perfect. We all are born through sin. Therfore, we will fall short no matter what. And yes we all have our own way of living or what we feel works for us. But God's standards of living is more important than what we believe we should or want to do. And I also didn't like the attitude of her having a spiritual wedding ceremony being side eyed and not given the same respect as a legal wedding....when actually, the spiritual wedding ceremony should be taken more serious and of higher respect than the legal biding one because a spiritual wedding is making a commitment between them and God...whereas a legal wedding is man made up to hold you legally obligated by the law of the land. So I wouldn't want any form of marriage that doesn't have a spiritual commitment between us first. So I don't understand why Al side eyed that when Claudia mentioned it especially with him coming from a heavily religious family. 🤔🤷‍♀️

If you are not married there is no commitment. Marriage is a covenant, a contract , a vow, a promise under God. A union ! Boyfriend and girlfriend don’t count they don’t really owe each other nothing. My 19 year old son has a girlfriend. He is not her husband. We got it all twisted and this is why anything goes. Now had they been married under God and under Caesar then now she can be mad. We don't live with them, we don't know the type of relationship" they have. I do understand that people will assume everything under the sun, because that's human instinct. One other thing that I just don't get, the first thing I see when I read the comments, I can't believe she was cheated on due to what she looks like? All of these beautiful women, and they all been cheated on. Looks, good sex, cleaning a house and working hard everyday will not keep a man. Nia publicly stated a few yrs back she has no plans on getting married again. It's possible they have an arrangement the public doesn't know about, which is y I don't consider this news. I think it's more idiotic he picked a coworker 2 cheat with after he was just promoted 2 head coach. He accomplished this n only 9 yrs. It usually takes longer due 2 the need of a lot more experience. He fumbled that. While it may not seem fair, black people have 2 learn we don't get away with the things whites get away with. Ime is legally a single man, who happens to be engaged for 12 years. Nia stayed in a relationship with Ime for 12 years shacking-up without a wedding date. Nia is a grown woman, and she should've left Ime once she realize a decade + 2 years had passed. She has given him the best years of her life. If Nia was married to Ime, she would be entitled to his social security benefits and half of his retirement. Ime probably didn't want her to move to Boston. He isn't sorry for cheating. Ime is only sorry because he's suspended and got caught fraternizing with an employee. How Nia move in a relationship with Ime after cheat-gate will be detrimental to her mental well-being.

The reason this man is being legally reprimanded is because there were clauses or a clause in his paperwork stating that there would not be any intimate relationships with any co-workers or team/staff members. Most businesses encourage against co-worker relationships anyway because of the potential fall out it can cause for or within the business. Do I agree about the news coverage of it, no?
