Nia Long is done being the victim of her ex-fiance’s scandalous affair, and she is finally reclaiming her voice and revealing new details about their very messy breakup.

This is sad but not surprising. I could understand why after 13 years with Ime she would have expected someone to reach out. It’s not because they owe her anything, but just out of human decency. Marriage is not something to rush into. They were living together so she is still entitled to half without all the issues of name change and name. As a divorcee I waited two years to marry. This was a blatant violation of Nia’s personal privacy. Her relationship is her personal information. The Celtics didn’t blast the 2 women in their org who were involved in the affair. Was race the reason. No disregard for the black woman who has status in her own right. Having worked in a public entity for years privilege can error with no recourse. It was not necessary to expose Nia for the Celtics to address the actions of the Coach. He should have stopped sleeping with that woman before he started playing house with Nia Long, so yes it is really bad how her name got damaged in all that and she just BARELY started living in Boston, like some 14 days before this story broke. I see how this can appear to be exactly what happened but I totally disagree, and here is why. First of all Has Ime Udoke ever displayed or has a history of cheating before being with Nia long? Secondly the couple was engaged for 6-7 years that's a lifetime especially as Hollywood goes, which means that something was going wrong in that relationship that we don't know about. Thirdly I believe that Nia cut all access to the promise land that lead Ime to be starved out to the point that he made some poor decisions. Many would say that this scenario is not likely and throw all blame on the man as is usual. But think about this: Woman control access to sex while men control who they get married to.

First of all, The Celtics couldn't dump their head coach, after a trip to the finals without an explanation of some kind. After that, word starts getting around. Second, nobody from the Celtics needs to check on Nia cause she ain't part of that organization, she just the girlfriend, if she wanna be mad at anybody for what her son and her are going through, she need to be mad at the dirtbag she was in love with who put his family through this. Third, the women's identity and careers were protected because Ime was in a position of power above them and at times showed signs of unwanted advances and/or actions. Finally the Celtics handled the situation as was recommended to them by the Law Firm who did the initial investigation.
